This is our second stay here and we have already made our reservations for next year. This place is perfect. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching whales, turtles, rainbows and sunsets. Jackie and Jon are just great to work with and have provided everything you would need during your stay. We're already looking forward to next year.

November 26-December 16/09 was our third vacation at Hale Mahina. The ocean front location of the complex is perfect and A202 is one of the nicest and most comfortably furnished units. The private beach is excellent for swimming and snorkeling and the views and the sunsets are amazing. We hope to return again next year.

Unit A-202 was new to us and it certainly exceeded all our expectations. It is truly a beautiful unit and it's apparent that Jackie and Jon aim to make their guests comfortable. The unit was stocked with everything we could possibly need for the week and there were many special touches left just for us throughout the Unit. We even received a welcoming basket. You couldn't ask for a better view and some days my husband and I were perfectly content just staying at the Hale Mahina, eating meals on our beautiful lanai, sunbathing on a very rarely crowded beach, and even snorkeling with the turtles as they passed the condos. When we did leave Hale Mahina, we enjoyed its close location to some of Maui's favorites including Lahina and Kanapali. We will recommend this unit to all our friends and hope to come back very soon with our little one.

March 19th - 27, 2009 We have stayed in the complex 5 times since the early 90's, 3 of them in this condo. We love the location. It's like a little oasis of calm on a very busy island. When you take your first look at the view from the lanai, you'll be hooked. Jackie and Jon are gracious hosts. Thank you for letting us stay in your tropical paradise.

March 7 - March 18, 2009 We absolutely loved staying in this condo! Jon and Jackie were amazing to work with. We were married during our stay and they really helped make our trip special. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and watching all the whales from the lanai. The condo is beautiful and is a home away from home. We can't wait to come back!

We recently stayed in unit 202-A at Hale Mahina Beach Resort and it was beautiful. We have been staying at this resort since 1986 and this unit by far is the best. From the time you open the door and go "WOW" you will be spoiled and very comfortable. The owmers, Jackie and Jon have thought of everything, even suppling you with all of the cleaning supplies, down to a supply of shampoo, conditioner and lotion.The grounds are beautiful and the ocean is a few steps away. If you want a truely wonderful unit call Jackie, she is wonderful to work with.

December 25, 2008 - January 1, 2009. This was our first trip to Maui and we feel so fortunate that we were referred to Jon & Jackie and their beautiful condominium at the Hale Mahina. It is a one-bedroom unit, and is very nicely appointed in the decor of the locale. The pictures we saw on their website were not an overstatement of the appearance and quality of the unit. It is well stocked with nearly every item you might need. We made much use of the Ipod dock (There is also a nice flat screen TVâ??but we were hooked on sunsets!). The best part, though, is the ocean. The lanai looks directly out onto the ocean. The view includes the following: three tall palms, sunsets, spouting and diving whales, a private beach, a well-manicured lawn and grounds, sailboats, kayakers, and a private beach. Sounds of the ocean waves can be easily heard in the condo because the ocean shoreline is about 30 feet from the building. We were so pleased. Hale Mahina is in a great location. We drove north 10 minutes or so to snorkel in Honoluau Bay (only 5 minutes to eat dinner at Royâ??s). Driving 5 minutes south, we enjoyed the beach at the Kaanapali resorts; 5 minutes more to Lahainaâ??many great restaurants, the harbor for whale watch departs, and shopping. There is a Farmerâ??s Market in walking distance from the condo. We really enjoyed our stay on Maui and our accommodations added much to our experience.

The Hale Mahina is a hidden gem in West Maui and A202 is one of the nicest units. The unit has been updated with new appliances, granite counters, comfortable furniture and interesting tile work. The view is incredible from the large lanai and the cleanliness is up to the highest standard. We will definitely book this unit for our next trip to Maui and hopefully that will be soon.

We just got married in Maui and stayed at this condo during our 2nd week of vacation (July 1-5). We love this place! It's very homey and the view is spectacular. We couldn't resist waking up at 5am when we didn't have to so we can watch the sunrise. We wished we could've stayed longer. We will definitely recommend this unit to everyone.

We have stayed in this condo twice before, and have booked it again for 2009. The views, the whales just offshore, convenience of location, and the decor keep calling us back. This will be our 7th trip the Maui, and six of them have been in this complex. It's a gem.

Thank you Jon & Jackie for a wonderful place to stay during our first visit to Maui! My husband and I have traveled to many destinations and have stayed in some nice luxurious places, and I will say this ranks as one, if not, the best. Not only do you get the wonderful views, beach front, warm breezes, refreshing pool and great snorkeling, it is all topped off with a condo that is as comfortable as our own home. You get a comfortable breeze that flows from the time you open the door to the unit all the way through to the double doors that open to the lanai, all while hearing the ocean waves. I will say that was one of my favorite moments of each day was waking up (I will say the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!) hearing the waves and enjoying coffee out of the lanai. This place is so tastefully decorated with every convenience imaginable! I would not hesitate for one moment to stay here again! Thank you for our wonderful vacation. May 4-12, 2008

This condo unit is wonderful. You are directly on the ocean with a view that cannot be matched. The pool is directly on the ocean, so if you want to lay around by the pool, you still have a fantastic ocean view and the sound of the waves. It was a truly wonderful place to stay on Maui!

3/31/08, the week we stayed in paradise and were married on the private beach just in front of A202. Jackie and Jon planned out every single detail, the minister, the license, the cake, flowers, music, etc. I would never travel to Hawaii and say anywhere other than their condo. When you first open the front door, you instantly take a deep breath. You can see all the way through to the ocean. You can hear the ocean all night as you sleep. To wake up in the morning and sit on the lanai with a cup of coffee and breakfast to start your day is more than we can describe. The condo has every thing you could imagine. Jackie and Jon have a wealth of information about the island and are more than willing to assist. If you stay here, please take care of this beautiful home as we can't wait to come back.

Hale Mahina unit A 202 translates the natural beauty of Maui into an interior decor that yields an atmosphere of peace, luxury and richness of island design. The spacious condominium meets all your needs for convenience and also indulgence. You will not be able to decide whether to enjoy the wonderful interior or spend all your time on the lanai, gaping at the knockout ocean view, including sunsets, white-crested surfs and rainbows. Our Stay, What a treat to stay at your condominium. Mary Ellen and I had a wonderful time there. You've furnished the place beautifully. It was a real joy to spend the hours there and have a number of meals on the lanai. We couldn't find a restaurant that had such a quiet spectacular view. Many thanks for the gift bag. It certainly contained the goodies that helped our stay with remembrances when we get home. We'll give a couple of your cards to a friend who's a travel agent.

My friend, Lori, and I had a great stay at the Condo the week before Thanksgiving. The weather was perfect, the condo was beautifully decorated, and the other vacationers were delightful. We enjoyed the setting sun everynight and swimming out front was just right. Not too rough and not to mellow. Enjoy your stay!

We have just returned from our recent stay at Hale Mahina Beach Resort Maui. Having stayed there in several occasions in other units I can honestly say I will never stay in any other unit other then A202 again!!! I booked directly from the owner who recently purchased and completely renovated the unit. It is absolutely paradise you don't even have to go outside! The entire process was so amazing she was so easy to work with. The owner Jackie was so Knowledgeable and helpful. She even went as far as helping me with who to fly with and what to do, who to rent a car from, and most important where to eat! Not to mention the pictures of the unit and the view are not exaggerated! THIS UNIT SCORES A PERFECT 10 IN MY BOOK! one more thing, she even leaves a gift basket!!!!!!!
